Rustic Engagement

My blog has been MIA for some time now and I couldn’t think of a better way to reintroduce it other than with this amazing couple! These two were absolutely adorable and a pleasure to get to know. I can’t wait to share and capture their amazing wedding!

Last session of 2011

Who would have thought that the last week of 2011 I’d be shooting a session? Not me, but I’m so glad this family contacted me. This little fellow recently turned 2 and they wanted to capture a few images of him. We played with trains, wagons, and even balloons during the session. Sometimes I’ve found that with a 2 year old, it’s just better to let them play and see what you can capture. Often those candid images end up being my favorite in the end! O Family Enjoy!

We played with Balloons!

We lost Balloons!

Shhh…It’s a Surprise

These two siblings decided to bring their families together for a Christmas gift for their parents this holiday. How cool is that! Honestly, that is what capturing families are all about. It’s what I enjoy most. Hopefully, these will be memories they can cherish for a lifetime! T family enjoy the preview of what’s to come!

Kids will be Kids…

I had the pleasure of working with an amazing family just recently. I decided for their blog post to do things a little differently this time. Instead of choosing the traditional, classic poses and pictures; I decided to go out on a limb and showcase the ones with personality! I have found that sometimes these pictures might not have the perfect smiles or even not everyone looking at the camera. However, that certainly DOES NOT mean that they are not wonderful in their own right. Sometimes….they may even be the favorite or the one that years from now you will always remember. Kids will always be kids and I hope I captured that here! H family, I hope you enjoy and do worry there are plenty of those traditional, classic images on the way as well:)

Love it!

Love the excitement on their faces!
